Teacher's Day Celebrations of AEP

Teachers like you are the reason why ordinary students like us dream of doing extraordinary things. - Happy Teachers' Day

The aim of the Adult Literacy Program run by Don Bosco Alumni Liluah is intended to promote and strengthen adult education, particularly that of women, and to extend educational options to those adults women who have lost the opportunity to access formal education and/or are above school age (ie, 14 years and over)

The AEP students celebrated Teachers Day on Sunday, 28th August at 11 AM.

Rector of DBL Fr Veliyen Davis, Unit Delegate and Principal of DBL Rev Fr Manoj Jose, Administrator Rev Fr Anandraj, Bro Lawrence Mondal graced the occasion.

It is result of the hard work of our Salesians and seniors that we have been running the project since 1991, trying to help educate the girls from the deprived sections of the society.

We should feel fortunate that we are part of this noble cause.

I want congratulate the Students of AEP for putting up a splendid show.

The encouraging and appreciative words Rev Fr Davis, Fr Manoj, Fr Anandraj & Bro Lawrence towards the social project of DBL Alumni, project coordinators Kamal Ag and Anil Agrawal, Teachers and students act as a catalyst for us to keep on doing our work .

Dear DBL Alumni members,

DBL ALUMNI celebrated the 207th birthday of St John Bosco, the founder of the Salesian congregation in the august presence of the Respected Salesians, Rev Fr Veliyen Davis, Our Delegate Rev.Fr Manoj Jose, Rev Fr Mani Manuel, Rev Fr Anandaraj, Bro Lawrence Mondol. Floral tributes, hymns were sung our technical students and staff.

We are really grateful to our respected Salesians for their support, guidance and cooperation. Fr Mani, Bro Lawrence Mondol and the technical students- staff, the non- teaching staff, the alumni members, Mr Kamal Ag, Anil Agrawal, Bikash Saraf, Kaifi Azmi, Sanjay Yadav, Ashish Debnath, Saurabh Ag, Raunak Poddar, Bijay Fatehpuria, Abhishek Sharma, Rahul Singhal, Vikash Agarwal, Debayan Ghosh & his friend, Nikhil Ag, Sailesh Ag, Prateek Singh. सूरज की तपिश और बेमौसम बरसात को हमने हंस कर झेला है,

मुसीबतों से भरे दलदल में हमने अपनी जिंदगी को धंस कर ठेला है,

यूँ ही नहीं कदम चूम रही है सफलता आज इस खुले आसमान तले,

ज़माने भर के नामों को पीछे छोड़ा है तब जाकर हमारा नाम फैला है|

A very big thank you to the team, for the wonderful wonderful work. Despite the unfavorable weather conditions we accomplished our goal. Our gratitude and appreciation for our Respected Salesians, Fr Davies, Fr Manoj Jose, Fr Anand, for their invaluable support. Thanks to our Non- teaching staff for their everlasting support. The hardwork of our members who work with dedication, diligence and determination to achieve the specific goals. Mr Kamal Ag, Vineet Agarwal, Binay Yadav, Rajesh Saraf, Kaifi Azmi, Bikash Saraf, Sanjay Kumar Yadav, CA Raunak Agarwal, Raunak Poddar, Ashish Debnath, Prateek Singh and young Raghav Agarwal. We could vaccinate 300 beneficiaries and we had Salesians, teachers and staff of DBL .

Once again we thank our Delegate Fr Manoj Jose and the Salesians of the house.

DBL Alumni carries a very rich legacy and we need the support and presence of all our members in the event.

Words of appreciation to the officials of the Health Department, Government of West Bengal for providing us with the vaccines.
