Elections for the Executive Committee (2018-2021)

Warm Festive Greetings from Don Bosco Alumni, Liluah !!!

Members are hereby notified that the elections for the Executive body (2018-2021) of our Alumni will be held on Sunday, 17th December, 2017. Elections will be held as stipulated under the Statutes as per Article 19,20 and 21. The Electoral Commission will conduct the elections and will comprise of :

1. Fr. Tomy Joseph, Delegate.      2. Rajiv Tikmany, Imm. Past President.         3. Fr. Sunit Kiro, Principal.

Only 8 ( Eight) candidates will be elected. The new committee at a seperate meeting will decide the portfolios. Hence you will be requested to tick off eight names (max) in the ballot paper. You are free to mark less than eight but if you mark more than eight, your ballot will be rejected.

Members willing to stand for elections can collect the nomination forms personally from the Alumni office on production of the life membership card in original on Wednesday, 22nd November, 2017 from 10 am to 1 pm.

Filing of nominations to be submitted at the Alumni office by the candidates personally, with your original life membership cards, on Saturday, 25th November, 2017 from 10 am to 1 pm.

Withdrawal of nominations can be done in writing and submitted at the Alumni office on Saturday, 2nd  December, 2017 from 11 am to 1 pm.

List of candidates would be put up on the Notice board on Friday, 8th December, 2017 at 10 am.

Elections will be held at the premises of Don Bosco School, Liluah on Sunday, 17th December 2017 from 10 am to 2 pm. Declaration of the new committee at 4 pm.

Those who have not paid their subscription fees and have not converted their annual membership into life membership will not be allowed to stand or vote in the elections.

May I request the members to come forward and elect the new executive committe that will take our Alumni forward. It is very important to vote for persons who are committed, loyal and able to devote time and energy for the Alumni and above all have a deep love for Don Bosco and the Salesian Family.
